Welcome! I’m Ivy! By trade I am a graphic designer. I have been for over 12 years. After I had my kiddos that all kind of changed for me. Can you relate?! I found happiness in all sorts of things and jobs so that I could be home with my son and daughter. I am a natural homebody. So making my home beautiful and functional is very important. From a very early age I loved to decorate. Some of my fondest memories are of me and my Mom “redoing” my room. I had all types of themes growing up. My favs were a beach theme – I found an older wicker chair and we painted my headboard and made homemade curtains with the matching pillows. I even had a real beach ball propped up perfectly next to my chair. One summer I decided to cover my entire ceiling in a magazine collage (I may have been grounded hence the large amount of time). I covered each section with very shiny tape so that it would reflect the light. It was a masterpiece…for a grounded teenage girl! Needless to say my taste has matured a bit since then.

However, I love absolutely everything about design, whether it’s interior, fashion, print (I also really love paper), or web. The entire process of starting with a simple idea and turning it into a wonderfully creative masterpiece continually fuels my passion. So here you will see all types of design – my home, invitations and party ideas, what my family is eating and anything that inspires me and hopefully you too!
