This post makes me very happy. After eight years of living in my current home I finally decided to give my master bedroom a makeover. And I am LOVING it! Feels so fresh and grown up. The Butterfly Room Reveal

Some of my fondest memories are of my Mom and me decorating my room. So this collaboration is like a dream come true for me. Usually I come up with an idea and design and the kids just kind of agree and roll with it. However, my beautiful daughter is now a big girl with lots of opinions and great ideas. This room makeover was so fun and turned out so good. Every time I walk into Lillian’s room it looks and feels just like her. It started with her dresser breaking. This was the first dresser we bought after we got married. So that baby has been around for a minute. It has survived countless moves and it just couldn’t make it another day! We went back and forth whether to just replace the dresser or just give her room an upgrade. After some fun brainstorming the butterfly vision came about and it was a no brainer. So now the fun begins… I immediately started researching. I love the process of design! It starts with one item, one “inspiration” piece and then takes off. The finished product is so rewarding.
