Well hello June! Whattttt?! I don’t even know how that’s possible! This is a very fun time of the year. With graduations, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, kickoff of summer…so many party opportunities! Today I am sharing a fun summertime tablescape that would work for ANY occasion!

When I think of summer my minds goes to palms, lemons, anything pink, rattan, margaritas and the great outdoors! So that was my inspiration for this outdoor tablescape.

Again I will encourage you to use what you have. Think of what your summer looks like and I bet you’ve got some great items already at home. For me it started with this fun palm leaf table runner. I picked it up at Target a few years back but here is a similar one. It’s so festive and and screams outdoor party!

Then just start by layering your table. I pulled in this DIY pedestal from my kitchen dining area. I like how it adds some height and a focal point. The lemons add a nice bright pop of color and here again, I am mixing real and faux. These beautiful hydrangeas are from my yard. Then I paired them with some faux greenery. They have that palm vibe that really goes nicely with my runner. Fresh greenery would be lovely in this setting – snip a couple fern leaves, any tree branches or I was dreaming of a bloomed hot pink crepe myrtle branch. However, mine typically don’t bloom until July. You will be surprised how beautiful this looks!

I used my everyday dinnerware. I love white. It’s always in style. Looks fresh and clean. I like how it ties into the white pedestal. A few GREAT places to get inexpensive dinnerware is IKEA or the Dollar Tree. They always have really good choices. Also great for chargers, vases, and glassware. I fell in love with small vases over spring. Both stores have fantastic options. I mean where else can you get a vase for a buck?!

I was gifted these fun margarita glasses from a friend. So mixed and matched with simple clear ones. Any chance I get I like to use fancy glasses. It doesn’t matter what you fill it with, makes the experience a little extra special. If you are looking for something to fill your glasses with, head over and check out my The Chile Lime Margarita recipe.

This outdoor tablescape really works for any occasion. Graduation, baby shower, birthday, Father’s Day or just a weekend backyard BBQ. I’d love to hear and see what your summer outdoor tablescape inspiration looks like!
