I ask and get asked often about devotionals. I love a good daily devotional and a powerful prayer book even more. If you know me well I talk A LOT about several of these books. I have used them for years – I mean prayer never goes out of style! For me I tend to get stuck with how and what I need to be praying for. These devotionals and books provide such a great foundation. You just integrate them with what you already pray for. THE POWER OF A PRAYING SERIES by Stormie Omartian I LOVE LOVE LOVE these books! There is The Power of a Praying Wife, The Power of a Praying Husband and The Power of a Praying Parent. I believe these all come in the book and prayer book option. The regular book offers a short story and then the prayer and several scriptures at the end. The prayer book is a very quick and short prayer with one scripture.
