This project took a bit of time. Not because it was hard but because I had a hard time finding supplies. I originally wanted to do an olive tree. But I could not find branches to save my life. I had my heart set on these olive branches from Walmart but were sold out every time I went in and they are not available online. So I had to rethink my tree. In the meantime I had my hubs cut me down some large branches that I would use as the base of the tree. Originally I had planned on making two trees to flank my hutch in my sitting room. However, after getting the large branches into the room it seemed a bit much. So after scouring the internet for branches I stumbled upon a DIY ficus tree. It was by far the best one I had seen. Simple and Cheap Home Projects

Got an itch for a new project? I feel like I do most of the time. And most of the time they require my husbands assistance. He’s a very patient and understanding man! 😉 Over the years these really simple and cheap home projects have become my favorites and have made one of the biggest impacts on my home. And when I say cheap, I mean CHEAP! HANGING BASKETS I am a sucker for baskets, whether they are displayed as wall art, hanging as lights or full of muffins! I love the natural color and texture. They go with every aesthetic and add a warm cozy vibe. A few years ago we redid our backyard and I got a “vision” of what I wanted. I became obsessed with hanging baskets.
